Thank you for your interest in joining the editorial board of Review of Business Finance & Accounting (RBFA).
Department Editors are appointed by invitation only. However, we would be delighted to consider your application for the role of Associate Editor. If you would like to be considered, please send an email to the Managing Editors expressing your interest and indicating your preferred editorial track. We will gladly keep your details on file and will be in touch as suitable opportunities arise.
While we deeply value the time, expertise, and commitment of our editors, the ABFA Society is still in an early stage of development and does not yet generate sufficient revenue to provide a monetary honorarium for editorial services. That said, we aim to ensure that our editors receive meaningful professional benefits in recognition of their contributions. These currently include complimentary submissions to the RBFA journal, reduced registration fees for the ABFA Annual Conference and affiliated events, and opportunities to propose and lead special issues in RBFA.
Importantly, this is also an opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing scholarly community. Over the next three to five years, as the society strengthens its financial sustainability, we plan to expand these benefits further. Our goal is to offer complimentary registration to the ABFA Annual Conference and to provide financial support for research-related activities for our editors.
In addition, high-performing Associate Editors will be actively considered for future appointments as Department Editors, creating a clear pathway for greater editorial leadership within the journal.
We would be very pleased to receive your expression of interest and look forward to the possibility of welcoming you to the RBFA editorial team.
